The Ford SHOGUN Project Begins!

A few years ago, Jay Leno invited us down to his garage to film a segment on our CS-1 Cafe Racer. While he was out doing a ride review of the bike, we wandered around the 122,000 s.f. "garage" like kids at an amusement park. In a sea of Ferraris and Bugattis and Lamborghinis, one little car stood out from all the rest: his silver Ford SHOGUN, a Festiva with the V6 from a Taurus SHO stuffed in the back.

Two engineers, Chuck Beck and Nick Titus, built just seven Shoguns, with Jay Leno being the most famous customer. In 1990, it cost about as much as a Porsche 911, but according to Leno, was faster.
Now, the guys from Ryca are going to attempt to build their own SHOGUN replica. With some ingenuity and modern technology (and some luck) maybe they can pull it off. Watch and find out!
